How to attach a Google Sheet to a message in Zapier using Anthropic

I want to create the following Zap:

Schedule via Zapier > Read from Google Sheets (I selected “Get many Rows”) > Send Message via Anthropic (Claude) where user message has the google worksheet attached. However,there is no option to attach the whole worksheet.  Please advise.

Just circling back in here to share that the feature was added—it’s now possible to send Anthropic (Claude) a file when using the Send Message action! 😁🎉

I did some checking and found that we’ve got an existing feature request for Anthropic, for the ability to supply a file. So I’ve gone ahead and added your vote to that feature request. While I can’t guarantee if or when it’ll become possible to include files, we’ll be sure to notify you via email if once becomes available.

As a workaround, perhaps you could use the Files by Zapier app to extract the contents of the file and pass that to Anthropic. If you can get a CSV version of the spreadsheet, it’s got a Text from File action that could be used to extract the text from it. Or alternatively, you could try Formatter’s (Utilities > Import CSV File) action to load the spreadsheet data into the Zap, to then pass it along to Anthropic.
