Hi,

I’d like to create a Google Forms form, from which a ClickUp task would get created. The task should be assigned to the respondent of the form, which is being collected on submission.

Welcome @jbence01👋

If the respondents already exist in ClickUp you could potentially use a Find User by Name or Email (ClickUp) action to find them. Then in the Create Task action you would select the Custom value option (see Add custom values to dropdown menu fields in Zaps for more details). And select the ID field (contains the unique identifying number for the user) that’s output by the Find User by Name or Email action. That would allow the tasks to be assigned to the same user that submitted the form.

Do that sound like it could work here or do the respondents not already exist in ClickUp?

Thanky @SamB, I just found the exact same solution, but it requires an enterprise plan of ClickUp.

The respondents exist in our ClickUp space.
