Question

How to add new deal in HubSpot, associated with new/existing contact when new order is placed in Magento?

I need help to test if a zap with the following can be made:

1)Trigger - New order in Magento

2)Create a deal in Hubspot

3)Create or find line-items/products purchased in Hubspot and associate with the above created Deal in hubspot

4)Create or update contact in Hubspot and associate with above created Deal

I have been trying to do it but I keep getting errors, also there is no appropriate documentation for it.

Thanks,

Hi @a.khwaja

What errors are you getting?

Perhaps post screenshots of the errors and how your Zap steps are configured.

NOTE: You may have to use Looping to handle multiple line items.

Hi @Troy Tessalone ,

I used the loop functionality and it seemed to have passed the test.

Within this loop I am adding a step to “Find or create a product in Hubspot” which passed the test once and create a product in Hubspot but when I try to re-run it, it gives me the attached error.

If this step is passed I will move on to the “Create a line item in Hubspot” and post about my experience

@a.khwaja

Please post screenshots of how these 2 HubSpot Zap steps within the Loop are currently configured.

Hi @Troy Tessalone With 2 days of self troubleshooting I manage to associate deal and line items once a new order was created.

Thanks a lot for the lead in your earlier comment, it was very helpful.

Regards,

Afreen
