Hey guys, how can I add a new subscriber (source: Facebook lead ads) to MailerLite sending them to a FORM in MailerLite (not subscribing them directly to a group)? I want to send the data to a specific form so that the DOI and the correct thank you page is triggered. Thanks :-)

Hi @katharinale

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: FB Lead Ads - New Lead
    1. Help: https://zapier.com/apps/facebook-lead-ads/integrations#help
  2. Action: MailerLite - Create/Update Subscriber
    1. Help: https://zapier.com/apps/mailerlite/integrations#help

Thanks Troy. But that’s exactly what I’ve tried and what is not working for me since this Zap is a “add to group” Zap, I need a “add to form” Zap.

Info about MailerLite DOI: https://www.mailerlite.com/help/how-to-use-double-opt-in-when-collecting-subscribers

If you have the MailerLite DOI turned ON, then when you create a new Subscriber in MailerLite, MailerLite will send the DOI email.

Yes, I know. But in this case, I would have to send a very general DOI email and send them to a general thank you page. But I want to send them a specific DOI email, and send them to a specific thank you page based on what lead magnet they’ve signed up for. And this specific DOI email and thank you page is behind the form for the lead magnet.

Perhaps consider this workflow…

FB Ad > click thru to > MailerLite Form > user submits the form > MailerLite handles the DOI

MailerLite API does not support submitting a form on behalf of a user.

Thank you, that’s a bummer. 😞 Sending them to a group seems to only be possible with a general DOI email, sending them to a general thank you page afterwards. That's not cool – because I want to send them to a specific thank you page per lead magnet to offer them a tripwire product related to the lead magnet. Is that really not possible with MailerLite? 😭 Can’t believe this!
