How to add a new A 1 column in an existing google sheets zap

Hi, I have an existing google sheets zap with a lot of data. I would like to add a new column at the begining (cell A1) to this google sheet zap. I know I am supposed to turn the zapp off first, but before I risk messing up all of my data, how do I do this? Will I have to re-map everything or does zapier automatically know to shift everything to the right?

If you add a new column header as the next column to the right of existing columns you’ll only have to map the new column and not remap existing columns.

When in doubt, try it out on a sample Zap and sample GSheet to test the behavior.

You will have to remap all the columns in the Zap if you add a new column the way you intend to as the new Column A.

What if I add a column at the end of the sheet in the Z column? Will it automatically map it?
