Question

How do I trigger a Slack message when a ClickUp task is due today, and what trigger/filter setup should I use?

Hello,

This might just be basic for some, but what i want to do is everytime a clickup task due date = today, a message will be sent to slack channel.

If I use formattier as filter, how to do this? What clickup trigger to choose?

Hi @Kay Page

You may have to use a combo approach.

  • 1 part native Clickup Automation to trigger on the due date = Today and perform an action that is available as a ClickUp Zap trigger (e.g. New Message Posted to Channel or New Comment on Task)
  • 1 part Zap from ClickUp to Slack
