Hi All, I want to create a application connection to ms D365 CRM with a different (application) user account. So that all the tranactions are done for instance with a user call ZapierAdmin and not my own personal user account.

The zapieradmin application user is setup in CRM and is not a domain user but is using the client/secret authentication parameters.

Is that possible?

Not sure that i have complety worded it correctly..

Hi @Frank van Oort, welcome to the Community! 🎉

It’s possible to add additional accounts for apps on Zapier, but the connection requires a standard user login, not client/secret authentication.

You could set up an email account for the ZapierAdmin user (like ZapierAdmin@yourcompany.com), add it as a new user in Microsoft Dynamics with the necessary permissions, and then connect that account to Zapier. That way the Zap could carry out actions on behalf of the ZapierAdmin user instead of your own account.

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If I’ve misunderstood what you’re asking about here or you run into any trouble on that just let us know! 🙂
