Question

How do I set up GAIL to create a service ticket for existing customers in AgencyZoom instead of just leads?

GAIL is an AI receptionist. When an existing customer calls with a service request I want GAIL to find teh customer in Agency Zoom-create a service ticket and place in the service pipeline and create a task for the CSR. I can’t find option for Agency Zoom Customer it only has Agency Zoom Lead.

Hi @Lori Augustyniak

AgencyZoom available Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/agencyzoom-ca67272/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Try reaching out to AgencyZoom Support for help with their Zap app integration.

Hi @Lori Augustyniak. Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I did some checking and saw that we’ve got an existing feature request for a “Find customer” type of action to the AgencyZoom app on Zapier. So I’ve gone ahead and added your vote to that feature request. While I can’t give any sort of ETA on when it might be added we’ll definitely send you an email notification once it is.

In the meantime, as Troy mentioned it may be a good idea to reach out to AgencyZoom’s support team as well. Their developers will have access to the feature request details in the shared issue tracking tool but sometimes hearing directly from customers can help to speed things up!

In terms of a workaround perhaps you might be able to set up a workaround using Webhooks? It’s a bit more advanced as you’d need to reference AgencyZoom’s API documentation to set up the webhook itself but we have a general guide here: Send webhooks in Zaps. And I had a quick look at their API documentation and it looks like you could use their Search Customers endpoint to search for a customer.

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If you run into any issues on that or have further questions just let us know!
