Beginner here. I wanted Zapier to send a Slack message with a photo whenever a Google Calendar event starts. Is there a way for the attachments in Google Calendar to be sent as an image on Slack? Thanks.

Welcome to the Community.

 

When a Google Calendar event starts, you can set up a Zap to send a Slack message with an image. Use Google Calendar as the trigger and Slack as the action to send a message with event details. Since Google Calendar doesn’t send attachment URLs to Zapier, a workaround is to include the image URL in the event description and pull it into the Slack message.

 

Please note that this is a workaround and might not suit all use cases. Feel free to ask if you need any further help setting this up or have any other questions.
