Hey there,

I’m new to Zapier because I’m trying to make it easier on my servers staff team to process applications without having to open google forms. Considering the form has alot of questions, and requires detailed answers, I’m running into the issue of the message limit being reached, hence why I want to use an embed for each application, rather than just a unformatted message.

Are there any ways to have Zapier send the questions and the corresponding answers as embeds?

Hi @OGPzHd,

Welcome to the Community.

To streamline your application process and improve message formatting, you can use Google Forms, Zapier, and a platform like Discord or Slack that supports rich embeds. Set up your Google Form to collect responses, then create a Zap that triggers on new form submissions. Use Zapier to send the data to your chosen platform, formatting each question and answer into embed fields for clear, structured messages. Test the setup to ensure it works, then activate your Zap for automated, formatted application processing.

If you have any further questions or need more detailed guidance, feel free to ask. We're here to help!

Hi there @OGPzHd 👋

Just came across this and wanted to check how you’re getting on. Did you manage to find a workaround for embedding the Google Forms submissions into Discord messages?

If not, it may be worth checking out this guide I wrote a while back on how to embed images in Discord messages:

Although the example there is specifically for embedding images you could use the same approach to embed the Google Form submission. Did want to note that the character limit for Discord embeds is 6,000 so although it’s higher than the 2,000 character limit in a Send Channel Message action, if you go over that you’ll hit a similar issue:

If you’re likely to exceed that amount then you might need to explore splitting the text from the form responses up into smaller chunks split across make multiple requests that would each fall under the 6,000 character limit.

If you give that a try please do let us know how it goes, happy to lend a hand if you hit any snags! 🙂
