Hi,

I’d like to do search my email for a specific string. I then would like to see those emails that chatGPT identified as possible good matches.

I connected ChatGPT and Gmail but cannot figure this out.

Thank you.

Hi @agir
Even though I won’t recommend to do this due to number of reasons, but here’s how you can do it:

  1. Create a trigger for Gmail app “Everytime a new email is received” and link your mailbox (assuming that you’re using Gmail)
  2. Next step should be a ChatGPT with a pre-defined prompt to analyze your email and search through the specific string that you’re looking for.
  3. In the prompt you’ll have to explicitly ask GPT to give you the result in the kind of format you’re looking for
  4. Push that data to a google sheet may be so that you can process it or generate a notification via email (or whatever is your workflow)
