How do I receive an SMS notification when a Twitter user updates their username?

Hi,

When the Twitter username/handle of user XYZ changes, I want to receive an email or SMS notification. Can something like this be accomplished?

Hi there!

This isn’t possible using the Zapier Twitter integration, sorry about that. Looking at the more advanced option (using the Twitter API) I don’t think it would be possible either. Twitter allows you to search for a specific user but doesn’t have a mechanism to send you information when a user name has changed. The only way to work around it would be to search for a specific username at certain intervals (eg one a day/week/month) and then have the Zap notify you if something changes.
