I have a zap that picks up a record and the related file (a resume Word of PDF) from job adder, it then sends an email with this attachement.

Zapier converts the file to a txt file, i do not want this to happen, how do I achieve this?

Good question.

We would need to see detailed screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured.

I think it standard behavior, but when I look at the attachment in the email that is sent, I can see that the txt file does not contain any real data, its not a copy of the word file into TXT, file contains only one line of text, the orginal file is a resume of 3 pages in WORD.

any idea how I can fix this.

The attachment field expects a file object or a file url, rather than the filename from step 2.
