Question

How do I map SalesForce contact data into custom fields in Clickup?

Hi, I need your help!

I am integrating SalesForce with ClickUp through Zapier, as I could not integrate them directly. I did the integration without problems.

What I'm trying to do and I can't is that the data I bring from SalesForce goes to specific fields of the task that is created in ClickUp.

My client insists that he wants the information sorted in ClickUp and I need to resolve this as soon as possible. Thanks!

Hi @Matias D

Can you please be more specific about what data points from Salesforce you are trying to map to what ClickUp Task fields?

Perhaps include a specific example to trace thru the data flow.

Hi @Troy Tessalone!

I have set up a trigger that when a "Lead" changes status (from "NSP Schedule" to "Awaiting details") in SalesForce a task is created in ClickUp.
I want some SalesForce specific data (like email, phone, name, etc) to go into custom fields in the new task that is created in ClickUp.
I only managed to get this data to go to "Comments" in ClickUp.

I attach images.

@Matias D

If those ClickUp Task fields are not available, then you’ll likely have to leverage the ClickUp API: https://clickup.com/api

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations

@Troy Tessalone

Thank you for your response.
I don't know if I can do that.

Regards!

@Matias D

APIs are advanced approaches and you may want to consider hiring a Zapier Expert for help: https://zapier.com/experts
