Question

How do I limit Trello cards per due date?

My Trello cards are being created automatically from Typeform.

In Trello, I have set an automation that creates a duplicate of the newly created card and set a due date after 2 weeks of creation date. I want to set a limit of 3 cards per due date and if that condition has been met, the due date will be changed to the next day.

If anyone can help me with a detailed step-by-step instruction, I would be eternally grateful!

Hi @shaina,

Welcome to the Community.

You can automate Trello card scheduling using Zapier by setting up a Zap that triggers when a new card is created. It searches for cards due in two weeks, counts them using a Code by Zapier step, and applies filters based on the count. If fewer than three cards are due, a new one is created for the same date. If three or more exist, a new card is scheduled for one day later. This setup ensures balanced task distribution over time.

Remember to test your Zap thoroughly to ensure it's working as expected. Please let us know if you encounter any problems or need further assistance.
