Hello,

We're transferring leads from Facebook (facebook lead forms) to Brevo. We know the platform, but we'd also like to know the specific placement that brought in that lead.

How can we do that?

Thank you!

Hello,

I am Patricia, from the Zapier Support team. Thank you for getting in touch and nice to have n our community today.

Can you give me some clarity on how you identify the source of a lead. Could you share where you typically find the specific details that indicate what brought in that lead?

Is this where you usually locate the source data?: https://cdn.zappy.app/25eb6611ec27e21da66c7d6c01a5cb6f.png

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @performance_lp

Facebook Lead Ads returns these data points:

  • Campaign Name
  • Campaign ID
  • Adset Name
  • Adset ID
  • Ad Name
  • Ad ID
  • etc.

Hello Patricia and Troy,

Thank you for your replies!

One of the data points is ‘Platform’, which I store in ‘source_platform’, where the options are ‘fb’ or ‘ig’.

I would also like to know which placement brought the lead (instagram story, facebook feed... etc), but I don't see this data point provided by Facebook when I'm doing the Zapier integration for Meta/Brevo, although it is possible to know this in Ads Manager. In Brevo, this information would go to ‘source_placement’.

In the Facebook forms, I added the dynamic parameter ‘{{placement}}’ in the hope that it would send the information, but it doesn't.

Is there any way of sending the placement information as well?

Thank you!

Mariana

Hi there @performance_lp,

Before we dig deeper into this, could you please send a screenshot of what the dynamic parameter looks like in Facebook? This will help me take a closer look and provide the best possible solution to the issue.

Thanks!

Hello @ken.a ,

 Thank you for your reply!

Yes, sure, here is the screenshot where I included the dynamic parameter (in the form settings):

Thank you once again!

Hi @performance_lp,

Thanks for the screenshot.

It looks like you’re trying to dynamically populate the placement field on your Facebook Lead Ads form. Is that correct? If so, once the customer filled out the form does it automatically populate in Facebook Lead Ads form or does it stay as {{placement}}?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Hello @ken.a

Yes, it stays “{{placement}}”…

Thank you!

Hi @performance_lp,

I believe the Facebook Lead Ads form does not support dynamic parameters. I would like to confirm something on your end: are you asking if the URL parameters returned by the Facebook Lead Ads trigger are correct? The URL parameters consist of the following data: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1016122818401732.

Could you please confirm if this is the information you are looking for?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!
