Is there now a feature in Zapier that can automatically add users as board members, or maybe send them an invite?

 

Any workarounds or solutions would be a huge help, as I'd prefer to avoid doing it manually.

If the action is not available in the Trello Zap app: https://zapier.com/apps/trello/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Then you’d have to explore using the Trello API: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/
