Question

How do I integrate Monday.com with Instagram for social media posts?

I’m building out a social media board for an agency on Monday.com. All the data and specs for a post will be loaded into Monday.com, and we’d like to push that directly to Instagram (at least, tho TiKTok would be great too) to post. Is this possible via the Zapier integration?

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Hi @NicoleB1121 - Yes, you can do this. I would use the “Specific Columns Values changed in board” to trigger the Zap, then use the “publish photo” step to send. (You’ll need a column called something like “Ready to Publish”, and you’ll need to set a filter on the Zap to only proceed when the value is “Yes”)

I’d encourage you to put in a few failsafes, from experience. 1. Put a 5-10 minute delay step between the trigger and publish step. This gives you a few minutes to stop the Zap if the column is modified accidentally. 2. Make two columns for “ready to publish” and “push to Instagram”. Make the Zap trigger on the “push to Instagram”, but make the filter step confirm both columns have the “Yes” value.

Additionally, I’d add a step after the Instagram publish that changes the status to Published or moves it off that board to an archive.
