It sounds like the email file isn’t appearing as one of the available fields to select in the Sharepoint Upload File action, is that correct? 

If so, can you share some screenshots showing what fields are available to select from the trigger? Asking for screenshots here since we aren’t able to access your Zap, so screenshots will help to give us a better idea of what might be causing the trouble here. Please obscure/remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing - you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

I’m not familiar with any Mail@Zapier app, are you referring to the Email by Zapier app or are you using a different app for the trigger?

Yes, thats correct. Iam using E-Mail by Zapier but none of the Fields that i can choose is the acutally .msg file.

Thanks for confirming that @Joern. I’ve double-checked on this end and couldn’t see any field either that would give a copy of the email itself as a file. So I’d suggest contacting our Support team to submit a new feature request for a msg or eml copy of the email to be provided. I also checked the Microsoft Outlook app on Zapier as .msg is specific to Microsoft emails but it doesn’t supply a copy of it in .msg format either. It does have a Web Link field available but, it’s not a publicly-accessible download link to the .msg file so you wouldn’t be able to upload the email from that. 

Is it just a record of the text within the email that you’re wanting to add? If so, perhaps a workaround in the meantime could be to select the Body Html or Body Plain MMR fields in the New File field on the Upload a File (Sharepoint) action. That should create a txt file on Sharepoint that contains the contents of the email. You may then want to use a filter to check if there’s any attachments on the email and if there is then have a another Upload a File action run that uploads the attachment as well. Not an ideal solution I know but hopefully may help in the meantime.
