How do I embed a youtube video in a Gmail zap?

Hi all! I noticed a similar post with no resolution, so I’m raising it again.  

I’ve tried embedding the youtube video in my Gmail zap, but it shows up empty when I receive the email. I’ve double-checked the HMTL and don’t think anything is missing, as the video shows up when I test the code here. 

Any help would be so appreciated!

Hi @MC Elias,

I’m not 100% sure that HTML that works outside of Gmail will always work as desired when you send it in the email.

It probably also depends on your recipient’s email service provider. For example, I added the link itself into the Gmail step of my Zap and when I view it my other Gmail account I see this:

 

I can then play the video right there in Gmail. Might that work well enough for your use case? Or are you looking to have it within the body of your email?
