Hi @Mary9989,

Welcome to the Community.

Scraping data from Facebook groups can be challenging due to Facebook's strict terms of service and privacy policies. While you can explore options like using Facebook's API (with proper permissions), third-party tools (that comply with policies), or manual data collection, ensuring compliance to avoid account or legal issues is crucial. Alternatives like group notifications or built-in tracking features may help you achieve your goals without violating Facebook's rules.

Hi there @Mary9989 👋

Just came across this and wanted to check in—how’s it going?

There are apps on Zapier that can scrape web pages and might technically scrape Facebook group content. But as Jammer pointed out, doing so would likely go against Facebook’s terms of service, which prohibit unauthorized data scraping

What kind of information are you hoping to extract from the Facebook groups you’re a member of? I’d love to help explore whether there’s an alternative way to get what you need.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

@JammerS what do you mean by “built-in tracking features”? Can you give me an example?

Hi @Mary9989,

Zapier's built-in tracking features help you monitor and optimize your automated workflows by providing visibility into key aspects of your Zaps. Zap History logs all executed tasks, highlighting successes and failures for troubleshooting. Zap Status lets you check whether Zaps are active or inactive. Error Notifications alert you to failed tasks, ensuring quick resolution. Zap Runs track frequency and task usage, helping manage quotas effectively. Lastly, Zap Performance measures execution speed, aiding in optimization. These features offer control and insight to keep your automation running smoothly.
