Starting September 30, 2024, Google Workspace accounts will only allow access to apps using OAuth. Password-based access (with the exception of App Passwords) will no longer be supported.
I don’t really understand this in the context of the Zaps I have set up for Gmail, Google Calendar and Drive, but where should I be checking the setup for Zapier to ensure I don’t fall foul to this new rule?
I have read this Zapier help page, which I think says the connection with Google is OAuth v2, but I’m not confident I’m reading it correctly! And I can’t even see the Authentication tab it talks about in visual builder. Would be very grateful for clarification. Thanks!
