How do I automate postings in Microsoft Teams private channels?

I saw an inquiry about this around 8 months ago and am wondering if there is any update because, I'm not sure why it's assumed that we wouldn't need automation in a private channel where private information should be posted and automated. And only in public teams channels? Does not make a ton of sense.
