I have a workflow in qualtrics to upload items to my monday board. I want to make an automation that will look for the email address in the update that is automatically created and put that email address in the proper column. Is there anything like this?

If by “update” you mean Item comment, then you’d probably have to use the Monday API to search updates/comments for an Item.
