Question

How do I add a 30-minute block before a OnceHub booking on Google Calendar?

Hi!

I am looking to create a zap where when booking is made on OnceHub (The Trigger) it will take the start time of that event and add a 30 minute block before that event begins on Google Calendar.

The use case is to add a block for a technology check ahead of a product demonstration, which gives a team 30 minutes to make sure everything is set up and ready to go before the event starts.

I’ve tried to create something but I am unsure of how to find the start date/time and add a 30 minute block before it.

Thank you,

John

Hi @Johnmcbride1

Good question.

You can add buffers in OnceHub:

Hi Troy,

Thanks for the quick response!

This is a fix from the booking perspective, however, we’d like an actual meeting to show up on the google calendar, preferably automatically.

Any advice?

Thanks,

John

Hi @Johnmcbride1

One thing to keep in mind is how to handle canceled and rescheduled meetings, because that will leave an orphan time block on the calendar.
