I am using the action “Create Customer” to create a new customer in Shopify from a trigger in Salesforce.

However, it lets me save the basic details, but I cannot set the “Default Address”, and consequently there is no address info in Shopify. 

Can anyone tell me where I might be going wrong? Thanks

The address field might not be exposes through native shopify integration. But there is workaround using Shopify API. See more about the Create Customer endpoint in Shopify API here- https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/mutations/customercreate

 


After this you can use API request action to do a POST request to this endpoint to create a customer with the address field. I know this can get a bit more complex and technical but if it’s important for you, you can give this approach a try.
