How can I connect Typeform to Mailchimp for automatic email sending?

Trying to connect my type form, which collects emails, to mailchimp, which then sends automatic emails to people that have entered their email address. So a lead magnet is sent to them. I can't seem to connect or understand how to do it. Any help?

  1. Trigger: Typeform - New Entry
  2. Action: Mailchimp - Add/Update Subscriber

This is the screen I'm at. Not sure what action and all the triggers mean or how to find my lead magnet automation I made in mail chimp.

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

Here’s how you setup the Mailchimp action step:

  1. Choose the Mailchimp audience you want to add subscribers to.
  2. Map the email field from your Typeform to the email field in Mailchimp.
  3. Test the action to make sure it's working.

For Mailchimp to send the Email Automation, make sure the trigger for this campaign (in Mailchimp) is set to “Contact signs up to an audience” or a similar option.

Now, every time someone fills out your Typeform, they'll be added to your Mailchimp list, and Mailchimp will automatically send them the email automation.

Thanks for you reply.

 

So when I look at the audience I already have an audience in mail chimp which is connected to my business with stripe. 

 

I do not want to connect that audience and it doesn't give me any other options. 

 

Ive created my email automation in mail chimp ready to connect.

 

What should I do?

Hi @dom1993,

Is it possible for you to create a new audience in Mailchimp exclusively for your Typeform responses, then connect your email automation to that audience in Mailchimp?

After that, you can follow this:

Here’s how you setup the Mailchimp action step:
