Question

How can I add Jotform submission attachments to QuickBooks Online bills?

I’m trying to push a Jotform submission to Quickbooks as a new bill and I would like an attachment from the Jotform submission to be added to the bill as support.

I’ve been able to successfully push the bill, however, I’m struggling with how to add an attachment to the bill. Any help on pushing attachments over to QBO would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Arianna

Good question.

You likely need to change the Jotform account settings to make the files publicly accessible.

Settings > Security > Privacy > Require log-in to view uploaded files (uncheck)

@Arianna

Found this on the (QBO) Intuit Developer Community:

Sorry, but there is no such attribute of bill in API present to attach any attachments.
As this can be only done through UI and all the features available in UI is not present when you create any bill via API.

If possible, it would likely involve the QBO API: https://developer.intuit.com/app/developer/qbo/docs/api/accounting/all-entities/attachable#create-a-note-attachment

The QBO API can be used in Zaps with this action step: QBO - API Request
