How can I add a timestamp in the comment of an event to indicate when Zapier created the event?
What are the fields Created and Updated in the Google Calendar flow? I would like to add a timestamp in the comment of an event to indicate when Zapier created the event. Can that be done using Created or Updated (or anything else)?
I tried both on the same event and got completely different timestamps:
2023-02-26T01:11:08.957Z2023-02-25T18:28:16.000Z
Thank you

Hi @dbo
Good question.
Please provide screenshots to give context about what you are referring to in the Zap step configuration, thanks.

Based on the provided screenshot it’s unclear what GCal trigger is being used as the Zap trigger step.
The Created and Updated timestamps are likely when the Event was Created VS when the Event was Updated.
I don’t think that theory is correct. Here are three examples from an event that was created once and then updated twice:
As you can see, the dates are all different - and sometimes the first date is later than the second date (first and third example) and sometimes the first date is before the second date (second example).
When I look in my zap-history, these zaps where run
feb 26, 2023 02:13:40 (pretty close to the first value of the second example above 2023-02-26T01:11:08.957Z)
mar 01, 2023 19:02:54 (see first example 2023-03-01T18:00:22.842Z)
mar 03, 2023 01:21:01 (third example 2023-03-03T00:18:30.593Z)
There is a one hours plus a couple of minutes difference between all these three examples.
The difference between the timestamps are
-2h40m
-2h20m
-10h40m
???

Best to provide full screenshots of your Zaps and Zap Runs to give us proper context.
We still don’t have a clear understanding about which GCal trigger you are using.
