Hey team,

I’m trying to find a way to format a hyperlink in messages sent through the OpenPhone app. Ideally, I want to replace a full HTTPS link ( a basic questionnaire we send to customers) with a cleaner-looking word or phrase like “Your Offer.”

I looked into using webhooks based on some Google suggestions, but it seems OpenPhone doesn’t support hyperlink formatting in SMS. I’ve since turned to Zapier, but I’m still limited by the SMS text format.

Is there a way around this — maybe a trick with Zapier or a link shortener — that anyone has used successfully to make links look more professional in SMS?

Appreciate any tips or guidance!

Thanks,
Sergey

Hey @Velikan ,

Hyperlink a text is not possible. Instead why not shorten the URL through Bitly or related app with your custom word?

Hi @Velikan

Thank you guys!

Hey @Velikan, just checking in! 👋

Did you have any luck with Bitly or one of the other URL shortener apps? Or did you find an alternative solution?

Want to make sure this got sorted—please keep us posted on how it went. 🙂

Hi Sam, thanks for following up! Yes I found a suitable solution. I just went with a URL shortened for now, looks like it works. Thank you!

That’s great news @Velikan! A huge thanks to everyone who lent a hand here.
