Its been ~2 years and now that many communities have switched to discord since and use Forums as their go-to place for Q&A, it feels as though there should have been a little information regarding the progress / problem at the moment. 

Is this an issue on Discord’s side? Is this an issue on Zapier’s side? 

Currently using solutions outside of zapier to achieve this...

Good question.

Most apps on Zapier are built and maintained by the app developers themselves on the Zapier Developer Platform.

Altho, I’m unsure who owns/manages the Discord Zap app.
