I have a Zapier account where I manage two chatbots. I would like to grant another user access to manage and edit only one of the chatbots, without giving them full access to my entire account.
Is there a way to share or delegate permissions for a specific Zap or chatbot in Zapier? If so, what are the best steps to do this?

Zapier doesn't support granular permissions, meaning you can't grant access to just one Zap without sharing full account access. Workarounds include using a Zapier for Teams account (though all shared Zaps remain editable by team members), duplicating the Zap to a separate account (which may require an additional paid plan), or leveraging third-party tools like Stackby or Airtable to manage permissions. Always handle credentials securely.

Just came across this and wanted to clarify that Jammer’s suggestion of “leveraging third-party tools like Stackby or Airtable to manage permissions” isn’t going to work. While you could potentially store and reference permission data using Airtable or Stackby, it wouldn’t allow you to limit access to a Zapier chatbot or a Zap. It’s possible to give another user access to a Zap if they are on a Team or Enterprise plan, but this wouldn’t allow you to grant access to a chatbot.
I’d recommend submitting a feature request to the Chatbots team so that they’re aware of the interest in being able to grant edit permissions to specific chatbots. You can do that using this form.
