Gmail to Airtable: How can I extract only some part of the email to an Airtable cell?

I’ve added an integration that generates an Airtable issue when receiving an email.

Nothing crazy so far; what I’m trying to do is to either, extract a specific part of the email content to feed that Airtable cell

or use a formula within airtable that enables me to only display the chosen part of the text in a subsequent cell

Has anyone a tip for that one?

Cheers,

Julien

Hi @Julton! It depends what’s in the cell and which part you need, but you should look into using the Formatter app.

For example, split text based on a character (eg split up text wherever there’s a comma) or pull out a url or an email address from the field.

I hope that helps!
