I’m looking for advice on how to build this zap. I am giving customers an option to pay for a 10 monthly class monthly.
The trigger is a line item in a WooCommerce order (and then filtered by the sku to prevent this from happening to every order.)
Basically, I need to generate and send an invoice 9 times after the order comes in. (I don’t want to pay for a Woocommerce plugin when I already pay for Zapier.)
Would a loop do this? Can I set it up to run the tasks 9 more times and add another 30 days to the delay?
Hi
MAX Delay is 30 days: https://zapier.com/apps/delay/integrations#help
Looping help: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/integrations#help
Some options to explore:
- GCal
- Use a Zap to log each of the dates into GCal
- Use a Zap to trigger: GCal - Event Start
- GSheets/Airtable/Zapier Tables
- Use a Zap to log each of the dates into a spreadsheet or database
- Use a Zap to run on daily schedule to check for records to process based on the date

Hi Sam, yes and no.
I took a step back and looked at the issue and decided I would wait and see how many people chose to pay monthly. The time I’d need to spend figunig out this zap is equal or more to the time it’ll take me to manually create a recurring invoice in Square.
Thanks for the update
In the meantime, I’ll mark Troy’s reply as the best answer for now to help to better surface that information to others that might be wanting to build out something similar. 🙂
