Question

Free is Not Free?

I signed up for the Free Plan, which states “unlimited Zaps”, but I later saw it was limited to 100/month.  OK, fine.

Today (2 Feb), I received an email telling me I had reached 80% of my quota, and I am certain that in two days, I have not gotten but a handful of zaps.  Is the email based upon January, instead?

I tried a Sales Chat and the agent would only respond to “Are you still there?” and “Where’s the pricing?”, but would not answer the question above, leaving me quite confused.

WTF?

Hi @raybark

Zaps are workflows with steps (trigger + actions).

Tasks are used in Zap Runs.

When a Zap is triggered to run, the Zap Run processes steps and action steps count as Tasks.

Zapier free plan lets you have 100 Zap Runs, since Zaps on the free plan are limited to 2 steps (1 trigger + 1 action), and trigger steps count as 0 Tasks in Zap Runs, so that means you can perform 100 actions per month on the Zapier free plan.
