Question

Finding and Updating specific existing Google Calendar Event

Hey everyone, first post here…

I want to write details into a specific, existing Google Calendar event.

I used Zapier to push the event ID and emails from it to Clay.

Then I do stuff with that email (enrich Person, find their LinkedIn URL and a few details from LI)

Then look up that clay-row (which now contains enriched info) from Zapier

Then push this enriched info back into the Google Cal event.

I can’t get Zapier look for the Event ID and update that in Google Calendar.

Hope I described this ok, any help appreciated.

Hi @Andreas Wernicke

If you have the GCal Event ID, then use that in the Zap action: GCal - Update Event

Help article about using dropdown fields with dynamic variables: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496241696141-Add-custom-values-to-dropdown-menu-fields-in-Zaps
