Hi Zapier Community,

I'm working on a Zapier Interface form and trying to create a dependent selection scenario, but I'm running into the limitations of dynamic filtering within the form itself.

My Goal:

I want the user to:

  1. Select an Organisation Name from a field (e.g., a dropdown or linked record).

  2. Based on that selection, the next field, Service, should only show the services associated with the chosen Organisation.

The Challenge:

While using Linked record fields correctly represents the data relationship in the Tables and allows users to select valid Organisations and Services, the "Service" field in the Interface form itself still displays all possible services initially, regardless of which Organisation is selected in the previous field. There's no live filtering during the form-filling process to narrow down the Service options based on the Organisation selection.

My Question:

  1. Is there currently any built-in feature or clever workaround within Zapier Interfaces to achieve this live filtering of a second Linked record (or Dropdown) field based on the selection in a preceding field within the same form?

  2. If not, what is the recommended best practice for handling this scenario? Is the current approach (using two independent Linked record fields and potentially validating the relationship after submission via a Zap) the only way?

  3. Are there any alternative approaches I might be missing?

I understand this dynamic filtering might be a limitation currently, but I wanted to check with the community experts to see if there are any solutions or best practices I haven't considered.

Hi there @hmhg,
