Hi, I’m receiving emails with links, I then need to click on the link and extract the image in that link. It is an ebay page.
Do you know of an way or system to extract the image from the website from the email link to be then send to a Google Spreadsheet row?
Here is the flow:
- Receive email with link
- Go on link & extract Image
- Add image to Spreadsheet row
Thank you
Hi there @Fabs - Thanks for being patient. Could you provide the website or page that you wish to extra the image in the link from? We’d like to see a sample of what you’re trying to do to find out if there’s a workaround. Thanks!
Sure of course ! Thank you fo getting back to me.
Here are the principal type of links I receive:
EBAY: 95% of the time : https://www.ebay.com/itm/392872249038
Skillter: https://www.skillter.com/fr/annonce/2942992.html
Other random site: https://www.cardealfinder.com/autos/ferrari/328-gts/1986-ferrari-328-black-71889.html
Thank you very much for your help.
Hi @Fabs!
Thanks for providing those links :)
It’s not exactly what you’re looking for, but here are a couple of things you can look into.
- Airtable’s Pro plan includes an option to create a “web clipper” and specify which parts of a website you’d like to clip. It’s a Chrome extension and you do have to visit the page and do it manually, but it at least takes a bit of the work out of it.
- Wachete allows you to monitor websites for changes. It could prove tricky if these are for new listing, but you may be able to monitor the page where these show up, then pull the data from that.
Hope that helps!
