Question

Exporting Magento customer attributes to QuickBooks. How can I extract data individually instead of as a string?

I am trying to create a customer in Quickbooks when any new customer is added to magento. However, the custom attributes are shown as a string. I wish to extract them individually. How is it possible?

Hi @Geetika

Good question.

Can you post screenshots with how the data is returned?

Hi @Geetika

Good question.

Can you post screenshots with how the data is returned?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, let me explain. I have a few custom attributes in magento  for a customer.

However, when I try to set up the action (to create a customer in quickbooks when a new customer is added to magento), it shows like this:

Now, in company quickbooks attributes, I want to display the business_name attribute from magento. However this is being shown as a string in “custom attributes attribute code”.

The question is how can I extract that? (I hope I am clear in my explanation)

Thank you for such a quick response. What I understood is that may be my company attribute isn’t supporting line items? Isn’t there any way I can do this?
