I am very new to this, so forgive me if my question seems trivial. When I am triggering a zap, I only see test:dummy data entries as my option. How am I able to trigger a zap and not get test data as my option for SMS messages?

What app are you using? 

Some apps don’t send over data unless they are on and configuration is done with dummy data. 

I am running a FB lead and would like to get my lead notifications thru zap

Error: "Could not pull a sample lead"

Symptoms

You may see this error when testing the Facebook Lead Ads New Lead trigger: "EmptyLeadSample".

Causes

The connected Facebook Lead Ads account doesn't have any recent new leads.

How to fix it

Thank you I will try this.
