Do wait steps before filters count against task limits?

Trying to figure out if I will be charged a task if my zap has a trigger, then wait, then filter, and the filter successfully filters out the person.

I know I would not be charged a task if the wait step was not there, but trying to figure out how this could impact things.

Does anyone know? Thanks!

Hi there TSzaps,

According to https://zapier.com/help/manage/tasks/learn-about-tasks-in-zapier all Action steps that are run are counted as a task, so yes a delay step is (currently) counted as a task. Zapier may change how they count formatter and dealt (and possibly storage) action steps in the future, but as it stands currently that delay will cost you a task every time it is run.
