Do wait steps before filters count against task limits?

Trying to figure out if I will be charged a task if my zap has a trigger, then wait, then filter, and the filter successfully filters out the person.

I know I would not be charged a task if the wait step was not there, but trying to figure out how this could impact things.

Does anyone know? Thanks!

Hi there TSzaps,

According to all Action steps that are run are counted as a task, so yes a delay step is (currently) counted as a task. Zapier may change how they count formatter and dealt (and possibly storage) action steps in the future, but as it stands currently that delay will cost you a task every time it is run.
