Do I have to pay for the premium apps separately or are they included in the price of a Zapier monthly plan.
For example is simpletext included with the starter plan or do I have to subscribe separately to simpletext?

To use these app in Zaps you need a Zapier paid plan.
NOTE: These app may require their own subscriptions as well.

As Troy pointed out, all of the apps we integrate with handle their own subscriptions separately from Zapier.
I know the use of the word “app” can get confusing. You can think of the Zapier apps as integrations with the standalone app themselves.
So when you see this:
You would need to be on Zapier’s Starter plan (or higher) in order to use those app integrations. Then Salesforce, Shopify, and Facebook Lead Ads would decide their own pricing for the use of their services.
