Can a Zapier Interface Form display the total of a few number input fields to the user prior to submitting the form?

Example:
Field 1 input = 10000

Field 2 input = 20000

Field 3 input = 30000

Display Total of 60000 below these fields

I see that I can use a Formula Field from my table which calculates the totals. Can I then display that field in my form?

@MobileEyes hmm, I don’t think so. You can display the formula field from your table on the form, but it won't show the calculated value because it doesn’t register in the table until the user actually submits, and after that the whole form gets cleared out. You could have a Zap that picks up the calculated field value and, say, emails it to the person who just submitted, but I don’t think there’s a way to have it display “live” on the actual form.

Hi @MobileEyes, welcome to the Community! 🎉

@DennisWF is right, it’s not currently possible. The table record would need to be created before the formula in the Formula field could then calculate the total amount, but it would be a great feature to have added! I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team to have them put in a feature request for that. That’ll help to get it on the team’s radar for potential future improvements.

Would DennisWF’s suggestion of emailing the total to them work well for you in the meantime? 🤞

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense. Zapier probably isn’t the right solution for my problem. I have given feedback though.

Totally understand, @MobileEyes. Thanks so much for taking the time to submit your feedback to the team, we really appreciate it! 🤗

Hopefully the team will be able to get that functionality added to Interfaces in the near future. If there’s anything else we can help with, do let us know!
