I’m having a similar issue using Trello Due cards, but using Discord.  It doesn’t appear that my Due Date Trello cards are ever picked up by Zapier. I’m wondering if this is because of the “free” tier of only updating every 15 minutes and somehow Zapier is repeatedly missing this window? 

The set up and testing all run OK with no issues, and the sample data that is pulled is correct, but once I enable the Zap it never actually runs.  The Task History stays empty (even though it’s enabled).  

 

I created an additional Zap to run on card creation, and that eventually worked, so it looks like the communication in all directions is working as desired.  

 

PS. Is there a more suitable way to share the Zapier configurations than these screenshots?

Hi @AndrewJDavison_Luhhu - Thanks for the reply. Yes, this is still not working for me. I can create a trello card and get sample data in zapier editor successfully, but once I turn on the Zap it never triggers on any cards.

Hi Carl,

Your theory about the polling interval and the Time Before being set to 15 minutes might be related. It seems that we'll need to investigate this further, so I'm escalating this to our Support team. They can provide you with the attention you need to resolve this issue in a timely fashion.

I typically don't like to bounce users around, but in this case, they really will be the best ones to help you out :)

Hey @chftw - Just checking back in here. Looks like Nick’s answer was heading in the right direction judging by the response you received from Jamie of Zapier support:

Time Before field set to 30 minutes, which should hopefully now allow that Zap to trigger properly

Yes, thanks for the follow up.  By setting the Time Before field in the Zap to 30 minutes, it triggers (sometime) in the last 15 minute window leading up to the Due Date on the card. This isn’t exactly as described, but works fine for our use and we consider it solved.  

The tech team might want to check into if it’s working as intended.  It will likely work more accurately with a paid account that checks more frequently than 15 minutes.  We’ll be testing that out in the future.
