Hi @DayTripto  You can’t fully “disable” a step in Zapier like that. A common workaround is to use a Filter before the step that always fails (e.g., “Only continue if 1 = 2”). This keeps the step in your Zap for reference but prevents it from running or using tasks.

@DayTripto Another solution would be to duplicate the zap, then remove that step from the duplicated version and switch it on - leaving you the older version to fall back on if needed.

Hey @DayTripto,

I don’t think it’s possible to deactivate a single step. For any feature request, please contact the Zapier support here- https://zapier.com/app/get-help.

Maybe you can keep the information of the step in a Zap note. Here is a helpful article about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/18091355055757-Easily-document-your-complete-workflow-with-Zap-notes. Hope it helps!

Hi @DayTripto

One option is to use Paths: https://zapier.com/apps/paths/integrations#help

Move the Zap step into a Path that has a Filter condition that will never be true.
