Delivered Status Shopify Trigger - Workaround

I just downloaded Zapier today so that i could initiate a workflow based on delivered status in my Shopify orders. To my disappointment, Zapier doesn’t have this as trigger….. BUT i figured out a hack… and it worked!!!  I hope this helps someone else! 

So Klaviyo (email platform) DOES have this event and I use the “delivered shipment”  trigger to send a few emails via Klaviyo.

  1. I connected the Klaviyo app to my Zapier account
  2.  in my new flow, I selected Klaviyo as the app
  3. for the trigger I selected “new event”
  4. for the metric select “delivered shipment (shopify).

boom!  then you can configure your step in zapier.
