Creating a new opportunity in Affinity triggers a new task in Notion

Hi!

I’m trying to set up a Zap where whenever a specific person creates a new opportunity in Affinity, a task is created in Notion to remind them to update the information for that organisation.

It kind of works, but with the “New Opportunity” trigger in Affinity, I can’t seem to add a filter based on the opportunity owner. So, right now, the task isn’t specific to whoever created the opportunity — it triggers for everyone.

Is there a way to filter by the owner or make sure the task is assigned only when that specific person creates the opportunity?

Thank you!

Hi @Volta Circle HQ

Try adding a Filter as Zap step 2: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/integrations#help

Hi there, @Volta Circle HQ 👋

How did you get on with that Filter action Troy suggested adding? Did it allow you to successfully limit the Zap to only continue for opportunities with a specific owner?

Looking forward to hearing from you! 🙂
