Create a Google Calendar event over a year away

How can I make Zapier create a Google Calendar event over a year away?

I have the whole Zap sent up to create a sequence of events that is working great, but if my initial event is over a year away, it pushes all of the notifications back an entire year. Is there any way to fix it?
