I’m offering yoga classes on Zoom and would like to be able to connect Spotify so that students can hear music during the class. Does anyone know how to set up a way for music to start when the meeting begins?

Hi @JulieMorr - Thanks for writing to us! That’s so awesome that you’re offering yoga classes on Zoom.

Click below to learn more about Zapier:

Zapier is an automator that connects one app to another. Each Zap you create starts with a trigger (something that happens in one app) and then one or more actions (something else that happens in another app).

An example might be a Zap where every time you post a new picture to Facebook, the Zap also posts the same picture to Twitter.

This document is a nice introduction to building your first Zap:

We also have a number of great resources meant to help you get started, including our:
Getting Started Guide: https://zapier.com/learn/getting-started-guide

Learning Site: https://zapier.com/learn

We also have quite a few example Zaps to give you an idea of what Zapier can do (and inspire some of your Zaps!): https://zapier.com/learn/automate-apps-examples

I'd encourage you to sign up and give Zapier a try for free. Experimenting in the app is a great way to get a feel for what we do!

Since our platform is based on Triggers and Actions, in order for us to execute an action, we need a trigger. I’m afraid we do not press play on your Spotify app for you when your Zoom meeting starts. Definitely check out our zaps when you’re ready to create those playlists!

Namaste!
