I have a list in clickup with 30+ custom fields. I’ve created a form in jotform, 1 question for each custom field in clickup. I’m trying to setup my zap to create a new task each time my jotform is submitted. When I go through the zap setup and get to action, there is no place to map the jotform questions to task fields. 

 

The only field I get is “Task Name”.

 

Is there a way to map the jotform questions to the clickup custom fields? if so, please direct me to any documentation. I have been scouring the FAQ but can’t find anything to help.

I believe the ClickUp API would have to be used: https://clickup.com/api

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Code app or Webhooks app.

I have the same issue. I want to make an automation so that if an item is created that has custom fields, other items are created that have the same custom fields, but it seems like that is not possible. Very unfortunate.

Hi all! I wanted to pop in and quote this from the the linked topic Troy referenced:

It’s not currently possible to use Custom fields with the ClickUp Zapier integration. There is a feature request for that addition and I’ve added you as an interested user on that. This lets the ClickUp team know how many folks are interested in the feature and also means that you’ll get an email when we have an update.

@dgagliardi and @AndyC5, I went ahead and added your votes to that request! We’ll be sure to update this thread and email you both if and when this gets implemented. 🙂

It’s also worth mentioning that Troy’s workaround is another potential solution!
